After 47 years of helping Nova Scotians find their confidence behind the wheel, Ha's Driving School has closed its doors. It has been the honour of our lives to serve this community, and we are deeply grateful for the trust so many of you placed in us — generation after generation.
What began in 1978 as a small, family-run school grew into something far greater than we ever imagined. We watched nervous first-time drivers become safe, capable road users. We saw new Canadians earn their independence. We helped countless families — sometimes parents and their children alike — reach milestones that truly matter.
We could not have done any of it without the incredible instructors who gave their skill, patience, and genuine care to every lesson — and without you, our students, who trusted us with something as important as your safety on the road.

For nearly five decades, Ha's Driving School delivered NS Government–approved driver education to students across the Halifax Regional Municipality — classroom instruction in Dartmouth, and in-car training wherever our students needed us.
Our licensed instructors were patient, thorough, and genuinely invested in the success of every student. We are proud of every Nova Scotian who earned their license with us.
